Welcome Message from President Desk
HIV Updates -Takeaways from IAS 2021
We hope you are doing well and you will be delighted to find this invitation for an event for HIV updates from the IAS 2021. First of all, I want to salute each one of you to have bravely faced the pandemic and for continuing to serve unhindered.
Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have all missed our physical meetings, workshops, CMEs and Conferences during past 18 months but we are glad that we have atleast been able to meet each other and have some meetings in the virtual space.
We have now planned yet another virtual event on 30 and 31st of July, 2021. It is the privilege of AIDS Society of India to host one one of the two Affiliated Independent Events of the IAS 2021 Virtual Conference which is being held in Berlin from 18-21 July 2021.

In this event, we aim to discuss about the lessons learned from the two pandemics- Covid-19 and HIV. Emergent issues related to Covid-19 pandemic, HIV, HIV-Covid and HIV-TB co-infections will be deliberated along with important takeaways from IAS 2021 with eminent international and national faculty on board. Many of the talks and discussions will be beyond just clinical management and will encompass many practical but overlooked subjects that we will now need to bring into our focus.
And although we would have loved to have a physical event, we hope to see you atleast virtually for this event 'HIV Updates -Takeaways from IAS 2021'.
Stay safe!
